HERO PROFILE

Background Story

Solisa never planned to leave the Dark Forest. Even when she was very young, she often heard the elders talk about the many dangers waiting outside the forest. For her safety, they told her not to leave her native thicket. Fortunately, the Dark Forest was large enough to satisfy Solisa's passion for studying plants. Actually, there was no better place in the world for an avid herbalist than a Dark Forest. In addition, Solisa was able to communicate with flowers, and this talent allowed her to summon flower ghosts. She often wandered through the forest, wrapped in her dark green cloak, and listened to what the trees, wind and flowers covered with dew were whispering about. The whole Dark Forest was her garden. At some point, the trees began to wither, and the whispers of the forest were replaced by moans. Solisa heard how much he was suffering. Unable to stay away, she tried to cure the plants with a remedy that she had prepared herself, but everything was to no avail. Once, a flower ghost told her about the magical Yuexi spring, the water from which could alleviate the suffering of plants. The path to the spring was long and dangerous, but Solisa was determined to save the forest and went to meet adventures. Fate does not spare those who have just set out on their journey: dangers await travelers at every step. On the way to the Yuexi spring, Solis was ambushed and surrounded by strange monsters. The girl did not know how to fight, and her first adventure threatened to end as soon as it began. Solisa panicked, but suddenly a young man named Eorin appeared out of nowhere, who drove away the monsters and saved her. However, it was not easy for him, and he collapsed to the ground without strength. Solisa took him to her hut and treated his wounds with home remedies. Eorin told Solisa that the monsters that attacked her were called corruptors. They appeared due to the imbalance of the elements, which undermined the health of the entire Dark Forest. Eorin wanted to find a way to stop this disaster. In the end, they decided to go to the Yuexi Spring together as soon as Eorin was on the mend. While Eorin was recuperating, he told Solisa a lot about himself and his past: starting with good childhood memories of his family and ending with the wonders he had seen on his travels. Solis was particularly fascinated by his stories about the world outside the forest. She was surprised at the breadth of her guest's knowledge, but at the same time she noticed pain in his gaze every now and then. Perhaps it was caused by something he had experienced in the big world-she didn't know that. So Solisa first thought about getting out of the forest. "Solisa, the day will come when many sprouts will rise from the ground. This trouble will pass, and then we can go together to explore the big world outside the forest." Many days have passed, Eorin's wounds have healed, and it's time to go to the Yuexi Spring. Eorin and Solisa walked through heavy rains, thunderstorms and endless trials that the forest had prepared for them. Together they managed to make their way through the dangerous caves of the corruptors, and through the wonderful visions of the Sleepy Grove… Finally, after overcoming many difficulties, they arrived at the Yuexi Spring. A mysterious symbol glowed in the depths of the source. This was the emblem of water. She endowed the water of the spring with power, which helped to fight the destructive effects of the outside world. Solisa took some water to study its properties and prepare a medicine. It's time to go home. Solisa called to Eorin, but he did not answer. He stared fixedly at the water emblem, and his eyes were burning. "The water emblem is very close... the Spiked Avengers just need such power." The fact is that Eorin was a member of the brotherhood of the Spiked Avengers, and it was the search for the water emblem that was his true goal. The Spiked Avengers had long disliked what the Green Creek Council was doing. They considered the voice of nature outdated and tedious, because it did not allow them to unleash the full power of the forest dwellers and use the Altar of the Elements and emblems as weapons. Only by gaining the power of the emblem, the Spiked Avengers could truly protect the forest. After that, they will be able to come out of the forest and punish anyone who dared to invade it. Perhaps they will even be able to subdue the other factions to the forest dwellers. Passivity and connivance only led to the fact that someone was always attacking the forest dwellers - so it was with the family of Eorin himself. His happy and carefree childhood was long ago destroyed by outsiders. "Come out of the forest and see for yourself, Solisa! You will see how your brothers, the forest dwellers, are oppressed and humiliated!""You are like the ostriches from the Scorched Expanse, who think that by burying their heads in the sand, they can forget about all the dangers. No matter how strong the plant is, it will be trampled into the mud. Only by meeting the invader with thorns, you can stop him, and the water emblem should become a thorn in our hands." Solisa tried to dissuade him, because she knew from the flower ghost that if you take away the water emblem, the spring will lose its power and will not be able to protect the forest from destruction. Eorin did not heed her pleas. He tied up Solisa, and he dived into the spring to get the emblem. But no matter how much he tried, he couldn't even touch it — the emblem turned out to be disembodied, like a mirage. Eorin sat down by the water and sank into despondency: the power he craved was very close, and yet it was harder to get it than to reach the moon. "Eorin, elemental emblems cannot create conflicts." Solisa wanted to say something else, when suddenly there was a commotion in the forest. Eorin's actions revealed the location of the elemental emblem to the corruptors, whose countless hordes were now rushing to it. Eorin released Solisa and pushed her away with a wry smile. Now they were separated by a whole sea of corruptors. Solisa knew the forest well, and she managed to elude her pursuers. She was almost safe when she suddenly heard the furious howl of the corruptors somewhere in the distance. Rushing back to the source of Yuexi, Solisa stunned the corruptors that came in her way with the help of a "Flower Crack". When she reached Eorin, he had already accepted his fate. The corruptors surrounded him and began to slowly move towards the emblem of the elements. If they manage to get her, all hope of salvation for the forest will be lost. Solisa heard the last plea of the forest. Unable to sit and watch her garden wither, she clutched the remaining potions in her hands and prepared to rush at the crowd of corruptors. Perhaps the water emblem sensed the threat posed by the corruptors, or maybe it was Solisa's determination to protect the forest, but suddenly a dazzling ray of light burst out of the Yuexi source. The emblem revealed its true form. Spraying her potion, Solisa dived into the spring, and her body connected with the emblem. "The strength of the emblem is in protection. It will protect all living things from the imbalance of the elements. The chaos of the elements is spreading wider. The forest groans from restless shadows. So many creatures are in pain. The torrents are stormy, hear my call.Grant me your strength, Take those whom I hear under your protection!" Crystal-clear water rushed up, and Solisa's body became part of the source. She waved her staff, which turned into an emblem, and heavy rain fell on the ground. Soaked through, the corraptors retreated one by one, and the trees and grasses spread their leaves and stretched towards the sky. Solisa knew that the danger that threatened the forest had not yet passed. She will have to leave her garden, her beloved forest, and find a way to stop this disaster once and for all.
